'The DBDRV – A New Regime'

presented by

Ms Gina Ralston - Chief Dispute Resolution Officer, DBDRV, Ms Anna Mitchell - Deputy Chief Dispute Resolution Officer, DBDRV, and Mr Alexander Sellentin - Building Assessment Manager, DBDRV.

On 26 April 2017, the Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria came into existence. This new regime for Domestic Building Disputes in Victoria is both innovative and somewhat mysterious. We are delighted to have three key members of the DBDRV come to speak to the Society and field questions on the new regime.

Ms Gina Ralston is the Chief Dispute Resolution Officer, being appointed in August 2016. Most recently, Ms Ralston was the Director of the Dispute Settlement Centre of Victoria, within the Department of Justice & Regulation.

Ms Anna Mitchell is the Deputy Chief Dispute Resolution Officer and a practising lawyer with significant experience in planning disputes.

Mr Alexander Sellentin is the Building Assessment Manager of the DBDRV, a registered Building Surveyor and was previously employed by the Victorian Building Authority.

Please note that this Discussion Evening may attract 1 CPD point.
